NEIL F. HORTON (Retired)

Neil Horton is a retired partner of Horton, West & Bowman LLP, the predecessor to Bowman Law Group, P.C.
Before retiring, Neil was certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law and Taxation Law. He was a former chair of the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California's Trusts and Estates Section, fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, former chair of the State Bar of California's Judicial Nominees Evaluation Committee, past president of the Alameda County Bar Association, and past chair of Alameda County Bar Association's Trusts and Estates Section. Neil authored numerous articles and publications for the Continuing Education of the Bar and the Trust and Estates Section, and was a frequent speaker on the law of trusts and estates.
