In her estate planning practice, Carolyn counsels individuals and couples in diverse planning matters. She also advises and represents individuals and institutions in probate and trust matters, including trust administration and decedents’ estates.

Carolyn is certified as a Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California.

She is a member and past president (2012) of East Bay Trusts & Estates Lawyers. She is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section, Contra Costa County Bar Association’s Conservatorship, Guardianship, Probate and Trust Section, the California Lawyers Association’s Trusts and Estates Section, and the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law.  Carolyn was a member of the State Bar's Trusts & Estates Section Executive Committee (TEXCOM) from 2013 to 2018.
